Nestled in our quaint downtown, this memorable place is anything but ordinary. Originally a bowling alley and Chinese restaurant, now a one-of-a kind vacation accommodation, perfect for large groups. Most shopping or local restaurants less than a block away. Upon check-in, you will be greeted with complimentary local smoked salmon and British Columbia wine. Nespresso coffee available and airport shuttle service upon request. We also provide van rentals for guests, 7 and 15 passenger available.

Getting to Sam's Place is super easy . We are located on the corner of Main St. and Collison Ave in Downtown Masset.Heading North on Highway 16 , turn left onto Hodges Ave.and cross the causeway (bridge) to enter Masset.At the stop sign take another left onto Delkatla Rd.Then take your first right onto Collison Avenue, follow Collison Ave. two blocks to Main St. The bigred building on the corner is Sam's Place. We are conveniently located across from the Pub, Coffee Shop, and beside the Co-op grocery store.

Haida Gwaii is the ancestral territory of the Haida Nation. This storm battered archipelago of 150 rocky islands off British Columbia’s West Coast is tricky to access at times, which only adds to its allure. With its diverse plant and animal life (the area is nicknamed Canada’s Galapagos), and monumental poles and longhouses, there is something new to learn for everyone.
The islands are home to dramatic landscapes, abundant wildlife, and some of the world’s richest heritage, home to more than 500 archeological sites. Haida Gwaii’s climate produces lush vegetation and abundant wildlife. Eagles , Bears and groups of Sitka deer are often seen on the grassy clearings along Highway 16.
